Mail, Ghaziabad, July 9, 2017:- Uttar Pradesh
metropolis, Ghaziabad, has won the dubious distinction of being labelled the
most toxic city in India. The Central Pollution Control Board of India (CPCB)
has announced the list of the most polluted cities in the country. And the Uttar Pradesh metropolis, Ghaziabad,

fourth. In fact, seven cities in the top
10 list are in UP alone, including Allahabad, Bareilly, Kanpur, Ferozabad and
Agra. CPCB has revealed that particulate matter (PM) 10 — which is generated by
construction dust and sand grains blowing from nearby desert areas — has
steadily increased in 94 cities in India.
