UPDATE

Toxics Link in coordination with Bihar State Pollution Control Board organized a seminar on "Mercury toxicity & Bio-medical waste management" in Patna, Bihar on 9th February, 2015. Besides aiming at enhancing awareness among health care workers, the seminar also intended to initiate discussion with the Bihar State Pollution Control Board to start the process of passing state orders on mercury phase out in healthcare facilities of Bihar. The event was attended by over 80 healthcare workers from different hospitals of the state.
