“Training of Trainers” (ToT) on Bio-medical & mercury waste management in Bihar

Toxics Free Healthcare team of Toxics Link conducted a 3-day “Training of Trainers” (ToT) on Bio-medical and mercury waste management in two hospitals of Muzaffarpur, Bihar. The trainings were conducted from 8th October to 10th October in KDKM hospital and Muzaffarpur Sadar hospital that are 150 bedded hospitals. The participants included nurses i.e. Auxiliary Nurse, GNM and Nurse Superintendent and class IV employees i.e. waste pickers. The issues related to bio-medical & mercury waste management were discussed with the staff members.
