CRT Display Unit Recycling Increases

The UK recycling market is seeing a significant decrease in the volume of cathode ray tubes (CRT) display units entering the waste stream, according to the Electrical Waste Recycling Group, which launched the first automated flat panel display recycling unit in December.

While other companies recycle one unit every 15 minutes manually, EWRG can process one unit of any size mechanically in six seconds, it says.
