Havoc of lead for human health

Human health has always been a priority for everyone, but nowadays environment is also considered as one of the most relevant concerns of the day. In fact it is also concerned, primarily with the health of living beings. Human life and environment are affected by a number of factors, the most intriguing being the toxic substances. Toxicology is the science concerned with nature, effects, detection and antidotes of toxins and toxicants. For centuries, lead an element, which is found everywhere, has always been a threat to both the human life and the environment. Lead is a heavy metal and air, dust, drinking water and food contaminated with lead are the main source of the lead exposure. The trades and professions that impose greater risk of lead poisoning are welding, iron foundries, glazing industry, ship breaking, vehicular emissions, paint industry, lead smelting and refining, pottery and ceramic ware production.
