Identification of risks from exposure to endocrine-disrupting chemicals at the country level

- A report published by World Health Organization on EDCs provides information on activities being carried out in the area of endocrine-disrupting chemicals (EDCs) in Denmark and France, as well as Japan, the Republic of Korea and the United States of America. It presents an overview of epidemiological studies on exposure to and the effects of EDCs. Finally, it outlines the action countries need to take to prevent the negative impact of EDCs on human health, in accordance with the Parma Declaration on Environment and Health and the resolution on endocrine-disrupting chemicals of the Strategic Approach to International Chemicals Management.
