Over the last five years, India’s first and only recycling plant for construction and demolition (C&D) waste has saved the already-polluted Yamuna and the overflowing landfills of Delhi from 15.4 lakh tonnes of debris. A Ministry of Urban Development circular on June 28, 2012, directed States to set-up such facilities in all cities with a population of over 10 lakh
