Delhi's largest solar plant at Dwarka Sector 21 Metro station

Delhi Metro on Monday started operations on the largest rooftop solar plant in the city. The project, launched by urban development minister M Venkaiah Naidu, is a first-of-its-kind initiative through which Delhi Metro Rail Corporation will produce power for all operations at Dwarka Sector 21 station. Naidu switched on the new, solar-powered lights on platform 1 of Sector-21 station remotely from Metro Bhawan on Barakhamba Road.
