Source: The Hindu, Date: , 2008

yamuna pollution
Faced with the recurring problem of contaminants released into the Yamuna by industries in Haryana, the Delhi Jal Board has decided to take up the issue with the Central Pollution Control Board and the Haryana Pollution Control Board . The water utility has in the past too sought intervention of the two pollution control bodies to direct the Haryana Government to ensure that no industrial effluents find their way into the river. Recently high levels of pollution in the Yamuna forced the closure of two water treatment plants affecting supply in several parts of the Capital.
