Kolhapur, Dec 22, 2016 : The Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB) will be initiating an action plan against the clinics that have been operating without any formal consent with MPCB. Medical clinics must have authoritisation of the biomedical waste (management and handling) rules 1998 for legal operations. If they fail to operate under this act, their operations will be considered illegal.
